JESUS LIED

 image showing jesus on a cross

         Jesus is the center of our Christian faith,  we regard him as God's own begotten son and his teachings and life serve as the pinnacle of different Christian doctrines .Likewise, the bible is regarded as God's own word which is true, holy and without error, it is therefore not acceptable to question any word or paragraph from it, but this doesn't save the bible from what various bible scholars and readers regard as mistakes or in this case lies, to break this writing down, our Bible Chapters and verses of interest are as follows;

Mathews  24:3

Mathews  24:29-30

Mathews  24:33-34'and

Mathews  16:27-28

Taking our reading from the King James version, in this chapter, Christ's desciples approached him and asked him what the end signs before his second coming would be like and when they would be expected. His responses were as follows.

Mathews 24:3

And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

Mathews 24:29-30/33-34

 29_Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken.

30_ And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

33_ So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

34_ Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

BREAKIND DOWN

        The above verses from Mathews chapter 24,the key verse to this article is 34'which in simpler words meant that all the signs of his second coming should have happened before his current generation had passed. This verse is what raises the question on either Jesus lied about his second coming, or is this just a mistake that everyone should overlook, or probably its evidence that not even the holy bible is perfect enough to have escaped from the shame of human mistakes

        Many would interpret this verse as Jesus having meant that, the generation to experience the end signs would be the one not to end without his second coming, but well this takes as to;

 Mathews 16:27-28  where Jesus makes himself clear that  the end times would be experienced before the demise of all his desciples that were with him on that particular day

Mathews 16:27-28

27_ For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.

28_ Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.

in verse 28,Jesus makes himself clear to his desciples that some of them would not face death before his second coming.

        In conclusion, this article is not to demean the christian faith but rather to educate and learn from the respective members of the christian community.
